Look past the headline rate
A 15% commission on something nobody buys is worth nothing. Weigh three things together:
- Rate × price. A 348,600 VND product at 8% pays about 27,900 VND per sale, more than a 99,000 VND product at 15% (about 14,900 VND).
- Sales. A product that already sells well has a price and listing that convert, which makes your link more likely to convert too.
- Rating. Recommending a poorly rated product costs you audience trust, and returned orders may not earn commission at all.
From keyword to content plan
- Search the topics your channel covers, such as "tai nghe bluetooth" (Bluetooth earbuds) or "bình giữ nhiệt" (insulated bottles). Vietnamese keywords match Shopee Vietnam listings best.
- Sort by commission, then drop items with weak sales or low ratings.
- Open the price history of your shortlist. If a price was pushed up right before a campaign, do not advertise that "discount".
